Provalliance digital signage in salon

Fresh look thanks to digital signage

Provalliance gives salons a boost in the Netherlands

Provalliance NL is committed to digital signage and gives communication and customer experience a boost in around 300 salons. At Team Kappers as well as at BrainWash and Cosmo Hairstyling, the hairdressing group creates a seamless experience that informs and inspires customers and stimulates sales. Provalliance NL communicates with passers-by as well as customers inside through a dual-sided screen.

More experience and better communication

Modernising salons

Groupe Provalliance is the largest hairdressing company of Europe with its seventeen different brands in 35 countries and 2,600 salons. The French family-run company is also active in the Netherlands with three chains: BrainWash, Team Kappers and Cosmo Hairstyling, together running about 300 hair salons.

“To modernise the salon experience and improve the communication with customers, we have equipped quite some shopfronts with a dual-sided screen”, says Nele Bruers, CEO at DOBIT. “This ensures that Provalliance NL does not only communicate the opening times to passers-by, but it also reaches customers in the salon with product promotions and inspiration.”

Efficiency first

The perfect solution

A back-to-back digital window display has pride of place in the shopfronts of Team Kappers, BrainWash and Cosmo Hairstyling. This dual-sided display has been especially designed as a digital window display. “The display that is directed towards the outside has higher brightness to counteract bright sunlight, which is not needed for the other display that is directed towards the inside”, explains Nele.

“In addition, our engineers for this project have designed a customised frame to hang the display. This system has been developed in such a way that it is modular and adjustable depending on the various mounting options at the different salons. The thorough preparation work of our engineers resulted in an efficient installation and smooth roll-out of the project.”

Studio Bamm-it

3D content

Provalliance NL fully uses the options of digital signage for dynamic 3D content as well as stylish 2D animations. “Our creative studio, Studio Bamm-it, has already created quite a few 3D animations to put specific products in the spotlight. The display brings the product to life by making it jump out at you. This often attracts that little more attention when compared to traditional 2D animations."

“The advent of such 3D animations has been huge and we are being asked more and more often to create deep screen content. A great evolution that challenges our team to design creative concepts and animations."

We were pleased to see how our entire organisation decided to run with this project. It also says a lot about the power of our technical profiles. Our engineers carried out preparatory work smartly and this resulted in a particularly efficient roll-out. After the installation, our inhouse creative studio, Studio Bamm-it, immediately did their thing creating a number of 3D animations.
