Inspiration from the market: BOOST the in-store experience with a LED wall

The retail world is changing at breakneck speed, but the role of the physical store is clearer than ever. It is the place to fully immerse your customer in your brand experience and to provide inspiration and personalised advice. A strong (digital) in-store experience is therefore no longer just a ‘nice-to-have’, but a crucial differentiator for your shop.

In this regard, more and more retailers are opting for an impressive LED wall to give the in-store experience a BOOST. This dynamic communication channel immediately grabs attention, sets the right atmosphere and brings your collections and brands to life.

Curious to see how this translates to the shop? In this blog, we’d like to inspire you with three case studies where one or more LED walls are seamlessly integrated into the shop concept.

1. LolaLiza: dynamic digital mood-setters

LolaLiza’s new store concept revolves around a feminine, modern and inspiring shopping experience with character. The focus is not just on fashion, but also on the experience and connection with the brand. And to reinforce that experience, LolaLiza went all out with several large LED walls. “The LED walls bring our collections and style expertise to life, inspire customers and show how to put outfits together,” says Griet Sauvenay, CCOO at LolaLiza.

During our presentation at Gondola Day, Griet, alongside our CEO, Nele Bruers, also explained how this new retail concept took shape and how the digital implementations enhance the customer experience.

2. e5: an inspiring and dynamic in-store experience

e5, too, is fully committed to creating an immersive experience with its new ‘StyleStories’ flagship concept. Five strategically located shops have been converted into inspiring flagship stores, where large LED walls reinforce the brand identity.

“The LED walls add that little bit extra,” says Sévérine Dermaux, Retail Director at e5. “We use them to showcase our collections, inspire our customers and announce our promotions and events. The whole thing creates an inspiring in-store experience, in which the LED walls offer real added value.”

3. Wijnegem Shopping Center: the power of Retail Media

Wijnegem Shopping Center proves that LED walls not only enhance the atmosphere and visitor experience, but can also serve as a revenue stream, with the installation of a large transparent LED wall.

This impressive eye-catcher is not only used for the shopping centre’s own campaigns and branding, but also serves as an additional Retail Media channel for brands.

“Visitors are responding enthusiastically to the transparent LED wall, advertisers are showing keen interest, and we’re seeing a rise of no less than 9% in visitor numbers. It’s a result we’re particularly proud of,” says Katrien Geysen, General Manager at Wijnegem Shopping Centre.
