Following a major rebranding featuring a new corporate identity, new campaigns and a new visual language, e5 is totally back on track. The revamped e5 boutiques are the perfect culmination of this transformation and, alongside a completely new interior, feature large LED walls that enhance the customer experience.

The Belgian fashion retailer e5 has been an established name in the market for almost fifty years. With its recent repositioning, e5 is strengthening its position and is fully committed to the customer experience. “Following the takeover by Peter and Kristof De Sutter in 2021, a five-year plan was introduced featuring a host of innovations. Not only the brand identity, but all 58 stores received a sleek makeover, entirely in line with the more understated, luxurious and minimalist shop aesthetic that is currently trending, says Olivia Devuyst, Marketing & E-Commerce Director at e5.

In addition, five strategically located shops were converted into inspiring flagship stores based on the new ‘StyleStories’ concept. “Both our boutiques and our flagship stores now once again align seamlessly with our current vision and brand identity. What’s more, with our revamped boutiques, we are not only appealing to our loyal customers but also introducing e5 to a new target audience.”

We want customers to stroll in at their leisure, find inspiration and leave with personalised advice. That’s how we’re making e5 the place where fashion, experience and service come together. It’s not just about clothes, but about people, stories and moments.

StyleStories concept

With its new flagship stores in Aartselaar, Bruges Sint-Andries, Hasselt, Lokeren and Ternat, e5 is taking things a step further. “Through the ‘StyleStories’ concept, we are focusing fully on the customer experience, offering additional services and organising events to bring our community together. We hope this will help us appeal to a wider audience and further grow our community,” says Sévérine Dermaux, Retail Director at e5.

“We are consciously making more time and space for our customers,” Sévérine continues. “In the MyStyle corner, we offer personal styling sessions and customers can book VIP sessions to enjoy personalised advice from our staff together with friends. We also bring extra inspiration to our flagship stores every month with inspiring events. From tastings to book launches, fashion shows, workshops and exclusive styling evenings, every visit is one to look forward to.”

Within the “StyleStories” flagship concept, large LED walls enhance the customer experience. “The LED walls add just that little bit extra,” says Sévérine Dermaux. “We use them to showcase our collections, inspire our customers and announce our promotions and events. The whole picture creates an inspiring shop atmosphere, in which the LED walls offer significant added value.”

“The LED walls strengthen the connection with the brand and enable e5 to communicate dynamically with the customer,” concludes Nele Bruers, CEO at DOBIT. “Because the LED walls are truly part of the overall concept, they transform the physical retail space into a dynamic environment that is constantly in motion.”
