The opening of the new store in Mechelen marks the beginning of a new chapter in which a trendy, accessible and inclusive style takes center stage. With no less than 500 m² of shopping pleasure, fourteen spacious fitting rooms, a beautiful open display window and several strategic digital implementations, LolaLiza offers a warm, contemporary environment that inspires and connects customers.

“We remain true to our DNA, but continue to refine it,” explains Griet Sauvenay, CCOO at LolaLiza. “The new store concept revolves around a feminine, modern and inspiring shopping experience with character. Our stores are not just about fashion, they are also about experience and connection with the brand.”

From strategy to retail concept

The new store concept is a fitting follow-up to the rebranding of the brand book and brand strategy. “Many existing elements have been retained, but have been given an upgrade to create a modern, warm and feminine look. We’ve used wood, marble and rounded elements to accentuate the feminine character,” says Griet Sauvenay, CCOO at LolaLiza. 

The new store is fully in line with customer expectations. “Through high-quality surveys, we gathered a great deal of input from our target group to help shape the concept and ensure it meets our customers’ needs. Our customers indicated that they needed styling advice and our expertise to combine a trendy piece. We bring this inspiration to life in our new concept not only through our mannequins and staff, but also by displaying images of our models on the LED walls. The LED walls bring our collections and style expertise to life, inspire customers and show how to combine outfits."

The core of our model revolves around agility, enabling us to respond quickly to new trends and our customers’ needs. As a result, we have new products in store every week, almost every day. In this respect, the LED walls are a particularly flexible medium that allows us to showcase our new collection immediately.

The shop has literally been designed to evolve alongside the modern woman. “Everything is produced on a short-term basis, which means we can respond extremely quickly to new trends and our customers’ needs,” says Griet Sauvenay. “New collections are in the shop after just six weeks, meaning our shop truly ‘changes every day’.”

The LED walls are the perfect complement to the ever-changing shop. “The LED walls offer a great deal of flexibility and represent a powerful step in our ongoing digital innovation. We don’t see it as a cost, but as a well-considered investment in a strong and distinctive customer experience. We bring new collections to life immediately through photos and videos of our models. The return on investment from the new concept was immediately apparent, and our customers also perceive the brand as more modern, stylish and relevant.”
